The newest addition to Frary Gallery – Ron Reams (Tampa, FL.). Ron works in a highly intuitive way, experiencing the energy of painting with the paint on his canvases in an almost sculptural way, building layer upon layer, color upon color. Ron’s style evolves with movement toward self-discovery in an improvisational way, rather than painting for an intended result. To Reams, the painting only stops momentarily – only to resume again on another surface.
